Probaris ID™ is an end-to-end solution for verification of identities. The solution is used to gather biometrics and other identity data, and to issue secure credentials. Probaris ID is flexible and extensible for easy integration with enterprise systems and adjacent business processes. The solution consists entirely of pre-integrated commercially available hardware and software components, eliminating the need for costly custom coding and complex integration. In many personal identity verification (PIV) solutions, the core business processes are rigid due to the application architecture. In Probaris ID, the core business processes are entirely configurable to meet the needs of the client organization. Probaris ID is fully compliant with the U.S. Government's FIPS-201 Standard for secure credential issuance. The solution is being used be federal agencies in their efforts to comply with the HSPD-12 mandate. Probaris ID has also been used in support of the DHS efforts to issue credentials to emergency responders.

All of the solution components are on the GSA Approved Products List (APL).

The pre-integrated solution can be quickly installed and configured to produce real FIPS-201 compliant PIV credentials.

The solution easily integrates with enterprise systems, making identity data available for use in facility, network, and application provisioning systems.
